Speech Contest 2014
As usual our speech contest participants were awesome! As in year’s past one winner from each grade level was selected by our prestigious judges. This year our judges were from Subway, The San Diego Padres, and our neighbors Calvary Christian School. They had a tough time selecting the best of the best, but eventually they did come to an agreement. Halsey D., Jacob U., and Kathleen G. will be representing 4th, 5th, and 6th grade at the upcoming District level contest! The Read to Feed program encourages reading, while heightening students’ awareness that their actions make a difference in the lives of others. As students read more books, they improve their reading abilities and more families receive gifts of livestock and training.
