To celebrate Veterans Day and to honor our military families, veterans, active duty, and retired, we will be having a picnic on Thursday, November 9th. Military families who wish to attend are asked to bring a blanket to eat on and a picnic lunch to share with their child. Please RSVP to your child’s teacher so that they can arrange to have your child meet you in the auditorium at the designated time.
Dr. Patti Guthrie, third grade teacher at McMillin, has offered to put together a power point slide show to honor our military veterans. This slide show will be shown to students and families during our Veterans Day Picnic.
Dr. Guthrie asks that all photos be emailed to her directly at patricia.guthrie@mcmillinelementary.com.

- service member’s full name
- service member’s full title
- name of anyone else in the picture
We encourage you to send pictures of the whole family. Pictures must be submitted by Saturday, November 4th.
