Great Kindness Challenge

Our school is proudly participating in The Great Kindness Challenge, a week-long program dedicated to creating a culture of kindness and compassion in communities world wide. To help our students practice kindness and put their compassion into action, they will receive a Great Kindness Challenge checklist. We will encourage all students to complete as many acts of kindness as possible at school and hope they feel inspired to continue them at home! Together, we will lift each other up, cheer each other on and show the world that KINDNESS MATTERS!

Thank you!

Dear McMillin Families,

I trust this message finds you well as we approach the Thanksgiving break, a time for reflection and gratitude. As we prepare to take a pause from our daily routines to celebrate this special holiday, I wanted to take a moment to express my deep appreciation for the wonderful community we have here at McMillin.

Thanksgiving is more than just a day on the calendar; it is an opportunity for us to reflect on the abundance of blessings that surround us. It’s a time to appreciate the supportive relationships, the nurturing environment, and the growth and learning that define our school community.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I encourage each family to take a moment during the break to share what you are grateful for. Whether it’s the achievements of your child, the dedication of our teachers, or the sense of unity within our school, acknowledging and expressing gratitude can have a profound impact on our collective well-being.

Wishing you a joyous and gratitude-filled Thanksgiving break!

Warm regards,

Dr. Sturges
