Please Join Our Safety Committee
We are looking for parents to join our Safety Committee. We would especially like to ask parents that are in law enforcement, fire, or something similar. Our first meeting will be a virtual meeting on October 13th at 3:00. Please email cynthia.orr@cvesd.org if you are interested in being a part of this committee.
The new traffic pattern worked!!! Thank you all for helping! We have successfully stopped backing up Santa Cora. Now the buses are on time. You can get in to pick up your children. *Remember, the parking lot is only for parents and guardians picking up Kindergarteners and SDC students. You will need a pass to park in the lot. All walking traffic from the parking lot must use the crosswalk.
**Please note that road rage on campus or for that matter off-campus is unacceptable. Cars and kids do not mix. I am asking EVERYONE to be patient. Patient means not being annoyed and can tolerate delays. If you are not going to be patient, we will ask you to pick up your child by walking on campus. Thank you
Also, please do not walk up the bus loop. Use our sidewalk in front of the school. ESPECIALLY when you have your child with you.

Masks – Everyone entering campus must wear a mask. This means even if you are waiting for students outside the front gates. We always have extra in our office if you forgot.

District Budget Advisory Committee
We are looking for a McMillin parent interested in joining our District Budget Advisory Council – The meetings are once a month, virtual, and around 6:00 pm. Please email me cynthia.orr@cvesd.org if you are interested. This is a very informative meeting.

In closing, I wanted to thank all our McMillin families and staff for all your patience and flexibility this first quarter. There were so many challenges but also so many things to be grateful for like having our wonderful students on campus. I really appreciate all of you. Have a wonderful fall break.
