This Week At McMillin October 31-November 4th

Red Ribbon Assembly

Last week our students were able to enjoy an awesome BMX assembly where they learned about choosing the right path in life so they can be healthy and drug free.  It was a huge hit with a great message.

Family Campout

We had a great time at Family Campout.  We watched haunted mansion, enjoyed snacks and family time under the stars.

Beagle Bolt

We have raised over $12,000 already for Beagle Bolt.  But only 150 students have signed up and started raising funds.  McMillin has over 700 students.  If everyone signs up and raises $25, imagine the possibilities! Please sign up and start raising money today!

Pick and Drop Off Safety

Dear Families, please use safe practices during pick up and drop.  Please stay on sidewalks, use crosswalks, drive safely and be courteous to one another in the car drop off area, etc.  Also, please do not drop off or park in the red zone.  Thank you.

Beagle Bolt Fundraiser Has Begun

What is the Beagle Bolt Jog-a-Thon?

The Beagle Bolt Jog-a-Thon has been our largest fundraiser in the past. 100% of the money collected will go directly to our PTA, which then helps your child with their grade-level field trips, assemblies, classroom supplies, books, computer programs, school sport teams costs, and more!

Students earn money by running laps around our school’s field. Participants get pledges from family, friends, neighbors, and/or businesses to support their efforts. This is a flat donation event, not a per lap event.

PTA Family Campout

We are so excited to restart one of McMillin’s favorite family traditions.

Boo Parade

October 31st we will host a Boo costume parade on the track.  Parents are welcome to attend.  Please arrive early and check in the main office.  Thank you.  Also, please plan to walk here as the 6th grade camp is also leaving that day so only 6th grade parents will be allowed to park in the front parking lot.  We appreciate your understanding.

Parking For The Boo Parade.

October 31st is the Boo Parade and 6th grade camp departure.  We are asking that only 6th grade parents park in the front parking lot (see image below) and any parents attending the Boo Parade please walk to school or use the back gate that day.  We want to be sure all families have a chance to see their kids off to 6th grade camp as well as enjoy the Boo Parade.  Thank you for your understanding.
