Polling Station Information

Dear McMillin Families:

McMillin Elementary School has been designated as a polling site for the upcoming March 5, 2024, presidential primary elections. To ensure the safety of our staff and students, our district has safety precautions for voters and poll workers visiting our school sites during elections. These precautions include:

Access to the polling area will be restricted to authorized personnel and voters, with designated entry and exit points.
To prevent overcrowding, we will manage the number of individuals in the polling area at any time.
Adequate signage and personnel will help direct pedestrian traffic flow and to minimize congestion.
Our emergency response plan is in place, and our staff is trained to handle various emergencies.
We will work closely with local law enforcement to address any issues promptly.
Every effort will be made to place poll locations away from school offices, classrooms, and areas where students will be present.

Voting will be available at our school from Saturday, March 2, 2024, through Monday, March 4, 2024, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, the polling site will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you have additional questions, please contact me.
