Hello McMillin Families,

As we prepare for the start of the 2020-2021 school year, I wanted to communicate a timeline of several school events that will be occurring over the few weeks in preparation for our start in distance learning. If you did not get the opportunity to fill out the survey you can still register for a device and or Hotspot HERE. You will need to fill out a form for each child that needs a device.

School Supplies Even though getting your child school supplies is optional. Your child’s teachers will be getting a more complete list when they report back to work on August 26th. If I were to guess what supplies your child may need if you want to get a head start is a couple of notebooks one for reading, one for writing, and one for math work, headphones or earbuds, post its, pencils, and a relatively quiet place to work (if possible).
Daily Schedules Classroom schedules are dependent on the grade and the teacher, our teachers report to work on August 26th. Your child’s teacher will be notifying you soon after on your child’s daily schedule. The time frame that the teacher will set up your child’s schedule is in grades 1st – 6th from 8:15-2:45, Kinder from 8:15 am- 2:30 pm, AM TK from 8:00 am – 11:20 am, PM TK from 11:40 – 3:00 pm. **Your child will not be online during this entire time.
